Shy Boy by Monty Roberts

Here is another great read. Not so much about horse training as about Monty Roberts the man and what makes him tick.

The story is about a wild mustang he captured and domesticated using his renowned, nonviolent training technique. He includes inspiring anecdotes, as in the case of Samantha, an ailing 12-year-old who used Monty's method: "She saved a horse from an untimely end in a slaughterhouse and spared herself further harm--and she had done it without ever raising a hand or even her voice."

I think this book is an easy fast read and very entertaining for any horse lover.
He has also written "The Man Who Listens to Horses" In the movie The Horse Whisperer the lead character was loosely based on him.
