If you have read one Dick Francis mystery then you've read them all.
Each has basically the same formula. Of course, the setting is horse related.
The protagonist is pining for some beautiful but distant female.
The protagonist is beaten up pretty badly somewhere in the middle of the novel and gets his man at the end.
But I really enjoy his books!
Each one is entertaining and a fast easy read. His books are like mashed potatoes or toast and jam...comfort food.
