the horse we rescued

Just 3 months ago we rescued a mare from a place where they would feed her as meat to lions. When we arrived she was skin and bone. also she was really scared of everyone. now she has gained 100 pounds of fat and muscle and is blind in one eye, but she didn't go blind herself. someone abused her until she couldn't see out of her eye on left side.
